Monik from Dubai, IndiaThis is a Pro Shot... Amazing.. beautiful.. Sincerely, 14 Aug 2007 6:00am ColNed Pictures from Amersfoort, NetherlandsThis is a beauty !! Great shot excellent work. 14 Aug 2007 7:07am Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanReally nicely put together, like your use of the silhouettes. 14 Aug 2007 4:30pm Bob Israel from Brookfield, WI, United StatesBeautiful composiition. Nicely done. 14 Aug 2007 7:36pm Melanie from Switzerlandwow. You did an excellent work. I like the tone and the frame. 14 Aug 2007 9:30pm Line from Chambly, CanadaI like this story. 14 Aug 2007 9:33pm Sashmo Au.go.go from Adelaide, AustraliaI'm not so sure that the silhouette style works for this image, mainly because the child's face is not visible. If you intended it that way, then I apologise for misinterpreting the reason for the composition being the way it is. It would have been a cracker image with solely the mother there because of her positioning - and because of which direction she's facing - in relation to the camera, but, personally, the child's face should be a major component of this image. Otherwise, it gives (me) the impression that your presence was unknown to the subjects, which I don't think was the case. As I said, apologies if I have misread the intended reason for you taking this shot. 14 Aug 2007 11:14pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI like the colors treatment of the picture. Beeing so close I would have like to see more details rather than 2 silhouettes, may be the original has some? About the composition, I feel that the mother beeing on one border would have been better. You could try to flip horizontally half of the picture (mother and child) and see how it looks like. doing this will make a diagonal mother-child-chidren. A lovely image anyway and well presented with the white frame. 12 Mar 2008 12:49am |
